From The Kitchen Garden

It has been a very busy summer around The Gooseberry Patch! My designs on paper look great and out in my little plot we have been busy clearing and tidying. At my home we also have a Kitchen Garden 'out the back' which is always full of self sown herbs which grow like a mini-meadow. When my 'Patch' is ready for planting out I am going to be transplanting lots of these little herbs from the Kitchen Garden to The Gooseberry Patch. Here are some photos.

Baby coriander - we start using it in our food even when it is this small. It ends up growing quite tall & going to seed which we then shake all through the garden beds.

Parsley seed head - we also have heaps of parsley EVERYWHERE, mum loves it. It grows for a long time and then grows a tall flower head that goes to seed too.
